November 6th: Walking Backwards in time

The morning was waking up slowly. And i left the house with Hasan to go to a shopping mall where he would have a client meeting and I would wander for two hours through designer shops and a gourmet food bazaar and a market place that was up to par to even the chicest of chic in NY. We passed over the bridge and entered Europe again.


Afterwards we went across Beşiktaş to Rumelihisarı where there was an old fortress.
He took me to Bebek where I fell in love with its shops and its flavors. Its Bospherus views and amazing charm.


Passed through Ortaköyn and came down town again to the hub of all ferries and transportations. A bustling neighborhood on one street and European sophistication just a few steps away As we entered Beyoglou.
And thus i had my first ferry ride to the Asian side. And I loved it even more.
